Heavy Bus Driver

About the role

Arada is seeking a Heavy Bus Driver to safely transport employees and authorized passengers between designated locations while ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and compliant with UAE traffic regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company heavy buses according to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely pick‑up and drop‑off.
• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, checking brakes, tires, lights, oil, coolant and other essential systems.
• Maintain accurate records such as trip sheets, mileage, fuel usage and vehicle inspection reports.
• Coordinate with the Transport Supervisor on route changes, delays, breakdowns or other operational issues.
• Assist passengers during boarding and alighting and ensure passenger safety throughout the journey.

Required profile

• Valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving Licence (Category 6 or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of heavy bus driving experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes and traffic regulations.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible rotational shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and routine maintenance.
