Hotel Painter – Yas Plaza Hotels

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Painter to join the maintenance team at Yas Plaza Hotels on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will perform touch‑up, new painting and polishing tasks throughout the hotel, ensuring all guest areas and back‑of‑house spaces maintain a high standard of appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute touch‑up painting and full‑scale repainting projects as directed by the supervisor.
• Prepare surfaces, apply primers, paints and finishes, and perform polishing where required.
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout‑tagout and job safety analysis (JSA) protocols.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any defects.
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff to minimise disruption to guests.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel environment as a painter is preferred.
• High school diploma or technical trade certificate.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and technical documents.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
