Housekeeping Manager – Dubai

About the role

Meliá Hotels International is seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Manager to lead its luxury property in Dubai. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across all rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver luxury standards.
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in rooms and public areas.
• Plan schedules, staffing and deep‑cleaning programmes for smooth operations.
• Manage inventories of linen, cleaning equipment, guest supplies and minibar.
• Handle guest requests and complaints, ensuring preferences are met.
• Coordinate daily with Front Office and Engineering on preventive maintenance and snag lists.
• Control departmental costs and track productivity without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Manager in a 5‑star hotel.
• Strong coaching skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a passion for luxury hospitality.
