Housing Technician

About the role

The Housing Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems within the property. This full‑time position supports the hotel’s Gold Standards by ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain HVAC, air‑quality control and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant and monitor property temperature.
• Analyze energy and utilities usage and calibrate controls, gauges and meters.
• Assemble, install, test, repair and maintain electrical systems, wiring, pipe assemblies, fittings and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting hazards and completing required training.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 3 years of related experience in facilities or engineering maintenance.
• EPA Universal Certification and HVAC Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
