HSE Manager for Major Offshore Project

About the role

The HSE Manager will lead all Health, Safety and Environmental activities for a major ADNOC offshore project, ensuring compliance with ADNOC requirements, project HSE plans and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Project HSE Management Program and develop project‑specific HSE plans, procedures and programs.
• Review and assess EPC contractor and subcontractor HSE plans, monitor HSE KPIs, and lead risk management activities including RAMS, JSA and PTW.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Provide visible HSE leadership, promote safety culture, and interface with client HSE representatives and major contractors.
• Support emergency‑response planning, environmental controls, waste management and ensure HSE coordination during high‑risk activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Extensive experience as an HSE Manager on major offshore EPC projects, preferably in ADNOC offshore environments.
• Strong leadership, contractor‑management and stakeholder‑communication skills.

Required skills

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent).
• BOSIET / HUET or similar offshore safety certification.
• Risk assessment, Permit‑to‑Work (PTW), SIMOPS management.
• Incident investigation, audit and emergency‑response management.
• Environmental management and occupational health & safety systems.
