Investment/Buyer Relations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Investment/Buyer Relations Manager to guide buyers through onboarding, verification and active engagement on Ecomswap’s M&A platform. The role is highly commercial, relationship‑driven and operates across multiple time zones, requiring flexibility and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively engage existing buyers, checking in regularly and presenting live deals that match their criteria.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, matching them to relevant opportunities and handing qualified matches to the advisory team.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of each buyer’s acquisition criteria, sector, deal size and structure preferences.
• Keep accurate buyer records and activity tracking within the CRM.
• Build relationships with new buyers (PE firms, family offices, strategic acquirers, independent investors) and convert outreach into long‑term trusted connections.
• Qualify new buyers, verify source of funds, acquisition criteria and ensure completion of NDA and Proof of Funds.
• Support outreach campaigns and marketing efforts, including Google Ads, to increase buyer sign‑ups.
• Represent Ecomswap professionally within the buyer community to enhance the firm’s reputation.

Required profile

• Commercially sharp with the ability to understand buyer criteria and connect them to opportunities.
• Familiarity with the DTC and e‑commerce landscape.
• Experience in investor relations, business development or a buyer‑facing role (M&A, PE, VC, brokerage) is a plus.
• Confident, proactive communicator with strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable balancing outbound prospecting with long‑term relationship management.
