Islamic Finance Executive - Cards Sales (Outsource)

About the role

ADIB is looking for an outsourced Islamic Finance Executive to source new covered card applications from the local market in the UAE. All business must be sourced within ADIB's permitted policy and procedure. The role is based in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing new-to-bank covered card products for the target segment and achieving or exceeding the assigned target.
• Preparing and maintaining a Daily Sales Report (DSR) for every visited customer and company, submitted to the team leader by end of day.
• Building good relationships with businesses and individuals from whom business is sourced, and visiting potential companies and institutions to close deals within the agreed turnaround time.
• Ensuring full product knowledge of the covered card and applying it consistently, while delivering prompt service to customers.
• Reviewing standard credit applications, checking the authenticity of key documents (cheque, bank statements, passport, Emirates ID, salary certificate) and correcting errors before forwarding to processing.
• Following the approval process, escalating delays, executing Murabaha contracts, preparing files and forwarding card allocation within 24 hours of signing, and notifying the coordinator of card disbursement delays.
• Maintaining good inter-departmental rapport, taking part in line-manager-promoted activities, initiating cross-selling on a best-effort basis and escalating customer complaints to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Broad knowledge of ADIB's covered card and other retail banking group products and services.
• Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations and risks.
• General awareness of local market competitors.
• Strict adherence to office timings, confidentiality norms and data protection; non-compliance is escalated.
