IT Executive

About the role

The IT Executive will ensure the reliability and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure. This hands‑on role covers network, server, cloud and end‑user support, with a focus on rapid issue resolution and proactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, install and maintain networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance and security issues across LAN, WAN and VPN environments.
• Monitor network health, optimise performance and participate in capacity planning.
• Set up and manage VLANs, subnets, IP routing and VPN connections.
• Maintain internal and external network systems, including cloud‑based networks.
• Configure, troubleshoot and manage database storage servers and cloud servers.
• Support network security by handling firewalls, IDS/IPS and VPN configurations.
• Document configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide on‑site and remote assistance to end‑users for network‑related problems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking and system administration.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and troubleshooting MacBook devices.
• Strong problem‑solving, documentation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative IT team.
