IT Executive

About the role

The IT Executive will support and maintain the organization’s networking and device infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and security for all users. This role combines hands‑on hardware configuration with network administration and cloud server management.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, install and maintain MacBook devices.
• Set up and manage networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance and security issues across LAN, WAN and VPN environments.
• Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning and optimise network traffic.
• Configure VLANs, subnets, IP routing and VPNs, and maintain network documentation.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of internal and external network systems, including LAN, WAN and cloud‑based networks.
• Manage database storage servers and cloud servers, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support network security by handling firewall rules, IDS/IPS and VPN configurations.
• Provide end‑user support for network‑related issues both onsite and remotely.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking and system administration.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently or within a team.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• MacBook configuration and troubleshooting.
• LAN, WAN, VLAN, IP routing, VPN and firewall technologies.
• Server management, including database storage and cloud servers.
• Network security practices such as firewall management and IDS/IPS.
• Network monitoring, performance optimisation and capacity planning.
