Junior Legal Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Legal Officer to support our legal team in managing court cases, debt collection, and contractual matters across the United Arab Emirates. The role offers exposure to a variety of legal processes, from litigation to amicable settlements, within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor legal cases through electronic court systems and government portals.
• Handle rental, commercial, and civil matters before courts and competent authorities.
• Register legal claims, applications, and execution files while tracking hearing schedules.
• Conduct amicable debt collection, negotiate settlements, and oversee judicial debt‑collection procedures to closure.
• Draft, review, and circulate legal correspondence, notices, memoranda, agreements, and contracts.
• Coordinate with external lawyers, consultants, and internal stakeholders on case developments.
• Follow up on execution orders, enforcement actions, and attend courts or regulatory bodies as required.
• Maintain organized filing and archiving systems for all legal documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and procedural requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent qualification.
• 2–4 years of relevant legal experience within the UAE.
• Proven knowledge of UAE court systems, rental and commercial litigation, and debt‑collection processes.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with legal management systems.
