Key Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and achieving sales targets across public and private sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
• Develop and execute account plans to maximise sales potential within assigned territories.
• Act as primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Monitor tender opportunities, coordinate proposal preparation and support clients during the RFP process.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales, operations, legal and product teams to ensure seamless project handover and execution.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare sales forecasts and report key performance metrics.
• Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions and conferences to enhance market visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• 8–10 years of experience in sales, business development or key account management, preferably in digital transformation.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing strategic client relationships and handling tendering and contract negotiations.
• Experience working with government entities and large corporate clients is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); Arabic is an advantage.
