Legal Assistant – Corporate & Lease Support

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Assistant to support our corporate and lease compliance functions within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. The role will involve routine legal administration, document preparation, and liaison with government authorities across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Track and manage renewal dates for trade licences of up to 10 companies across UAE free zones and mainland (DED).
• Monitor lease agreement expiries, prepare simple renewal documentation and coordinate with landlords or property managers.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team, including drafting basic correspondence and organising legal documents and contracts.
• Act as the primary contact with corporate service providers, PROs and government authorities for routine submissions and follow‑ups.
• Conduct basic legal research on UAE laws and regulations under supervision.
• Handle ad‑hoc legal tasks and assignments efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from a recognised university.
• At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant or relevant administrative role in the UAE (fresh graduates with strong internships are welcome).
• Basic understanding of UAE legal system, corporate structures and government procedures.
• Fluent English; Arabic knowledge is a strong advantage.
