Legal / Contractual Advisor

About the role

Decima International is seeking an experienced Legal / Contractual Advisor to support large‑scale construction and EPC projects in Dubai. The role is client‑facing and focuses on providing legal, contractual and commercial guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory support for EPC, construction, consultancy, subcontract, supplier and professional services agreements.
• Draft, review and negotiate EPC contracts, amendments, letters of intent, framework and consultancy agreements.
• Advise project leadership, commercial, procurement and technical teams on rights, obligations, liabilities, risks and remedies.
• Support development and review of tender and contract documents, including scopes of work, pricing schedules, warranties, bonds, insurances and termination clauses.
• Identify legal, commercial and delivery risks before contract execution and guide on FIDIC‑based contracts, UAE law and EPC contracting models.
• Assist in negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers and vendors, and manage notices, change orders, delay events, extensions of time, claims and close‑out matters.

Required profile

• Professional background as a construction lawyer, contracts specialist or senior contractual advisor.
• Proven experience with complex construction, infrastructure, industrial or data‑center projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracting structures, FIDIC agreements and UAE legal requirements.
