Legal Counsel – Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain)

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Middle East legal and compliance function. The role will support operations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the wider MENA region, protecting the company’s rights in contracts, settlements and litigation while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial and regulatory legal advice to senior business leaders on high‑profile projects, transactions, disputes and employment matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate client contracts and other legal documents related to real‑estate services, brokerage, property management and valuation.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructuring initiatives.
• Monitor legislative changes, prepare legal bulletins and deliver training to business units.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities for licences, extensions and other commercial applications.
• Assist the Head of Legal in developing legal strategies and risk‑mitigation solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 72 months (6 years) of relevant legal experience, preferably within the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of corporate structuring, compliance and litigation in real‑estate contexts.
• Ability to provide concise, commercially‑focused advice and work closely with senior stakeholders.
