Legal Manager – Real Estate Development

About the role

The Legal Manager will lead all legal matters related to our real‑estate development projects, ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and safeguarding the company’s interests. You will provide timely legal advice, assess risks, and support decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and amend a wide range of agreements, including NOCs, temporary licences, resale and termination contracts, settlement and amendment agreements.
• Liaise with dispute lawyers to minimise litigation risk.
• Prepare and review correspondence such as letters, emails and notices concerning off‑plan sales, infrastructure allocations, service‑charge waivers, project registration and cancellations.
• Continuously evaluate real‑estate precedent documents to streamline processes.
• Support off‑plan project launches by reviewing booking forms, SPA and disclosure statements, and manage post‑execution issues like late payments, terminations, settlements, resale requests and customer data changes.
• Handle handover notices, defect notices, community issues and occupier evictions.
• Advise on community‑management disputes, owner complaints and maintenance matters.
• Guide the business on agency agreements, broker relationships and related terminations.
• Monitor legal developments in Dubai and the UAE and keep the company updated.

Required profile

• LLB or Master’s degree in Law from a recognised university.
• 4‑6 years of relevant experience, preferably within a real‑estate developer.
• Strong knowledge of UAE local laws, regulations and real‑estate sector implications.
• Excellent problem‑solving attitude, confidentiality and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
