Lending & Insurance Lead

About the role

The Lending & Insurance Lead will shape du Pay's overall lending and embedded insurance strategy, defining multi‑year product vision, roadmaps and market opportunities across customer segments in the UAE and broader MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute du Pay's lending and embedded insurance strategy, including product vision, roadmap and market analysis.
• Own the development of the lending portfolio (micro‑lending, BNPL, SME financing, device financing, etc.) and embedded insurance offerings, collaborating with licensed partners and regulatory teams.
• Lead data‑driven credit decisioning, sourcing alternative data, and enhancing predictive credit models.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from concept through launch, coordinating engineering, UX, data and operations teams.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships across lending and insurance ecosystems, negotiating commercial terms and monitoring performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, Engineering or related field; MBA or professional qualifications (CFA, FRM) advantageous.
• Extensive experience in digital lending, fintech, embedded finance or insurance technology within the UAE, GCC or MENA region.
• Proven product leadership with the ability to translate complex financial products into simple, customer‑centric propositions.
