M&A Associate – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Lazard, a leading financial advisory and asset management firm, is seeking an M&A Associate to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role involves supporting senior bankers and clients across deal processes and delivering high‑quality financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct a wide range of financial analyses.
• Perform industry research and synthesize information to support transaction decisions.
• Prepare client presentations and marketing materials with strong analytical insight.
• Interact regularly with senior bankers and clients throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Assist in managing deal processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate M&A or ECM at a Tier‑1 bank or advisory firm.
• Strong analytical abilities and extensive experience in financial modelling and presentation preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail, high standards of accuracy, and proven academic excellence.
• Team‑player mindset with the ability to thrive in a demanding, initiative‑driven environment.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus, and prior GCC experience is essential.
