Makeup Consultant – Luxury Retail

About the role

The Makeup Consultant will deliver outstanding customer service and use expert product knowledge to meet sales targets within the Yves Saint Laurent boutique at The Grove. You will ensure the counter is immaculate, manage stock, and uphold the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain counter cleanliness and ensure merchandising follows brand guidelines.
• Replenish stock on shelves and counters at appropriate times.
• Handle new product launches, promotions, and post‑launch sales tracking.
• Generate daily sales reports and monitor sell‑out targets.
• Advise customers on skincare, makeup, and fragrance products that suit their needs.
• Demonstrate product usage and benefits to enhance the guest experience.
• Address customer queries regarding product availability, pricing, and usage.
• Report stock shortages and ensure proper receipt of deliveries.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the beauty industry.
• Proven expertise across skincare, makeup, and fragrance categories.
• Strong knowledge of luxury retail standards and premium customer service.
• Fluent spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional grooming and presentation standards.
