Manager Marketing Strategic Planner

About the role

The Manager Marketing Strategic Planner leads a team of Strategic Planners within Emirates' Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand team, providing data‑driven insights and recommendations to marketing communications, media, and other CCM&B teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop frameworks and processes for the Strategic Planning team to deliver consistent, data‑driven recommendations across regions and business units.
• Lead analysis of data, audience creation, targeting and media spend, ensuring alignment with marketing briefs.
• Drive data‑driven thinking department‑wide, showcase team work, and communicate benefits of data‑backed planning.
• Build strong cross‑department relationships, mentor planners, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards.
• Influence budget setting, monitor spend ROI, and prioritize investment initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing or related field (attested) with 10+ years of experience in marketing, media or communications.
• Proven experience as a strategic planner delivering global campaign briefs.
• Strong leadership and advocacy skills, with ability to mentor and develop a team.
• Excellent analytical mindset, comfortable working with numbers and data.

Required skills

• Google certification
• Experience with marketing technologies such as CDPs, CRM platforms, SFMC
• Statistical analysis capabilities
• Hands‑on digital marketing and media planning experience
