Marketing & Activities Coordinator

About the role

SMS Private School is seeking a creative, organised and energetic Marketing & Activities Coordinator to lead the school's marketing initiatives, branding and community-focused events. The role promotes the school, enhances the parent and student experience and supports admissions growth through engaging campaigns and well-executed activities. It reports to the Head of Admissions and Community Relations and manages marketing projects from concept to delivery, oversees social media and digital presence, and plans and delivers a wide range of school events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual and termly marketing and enrolment plans aligned with the school's strategic objectives and KHDA requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver marketing and enrolment campaigns to support student recruitment and retention.
• Manage the school's digital and social media platforms, keeping content accurate and professionally presented.
• Coordinate with external marketing agencies and service providers to deliver approved materials and campaigns.
• Maintain and update the school website so information is current, accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Plan, organise and deliver school events and activities, including Open Days and community engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate after-school sports and academic activities, with scheduling, supervision and communication.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding procedures, health and safety requirements and KHDA regulations.
• Build working relationships with internal teams, parents, vendors and external authorities.
• Maintain accurate records, budgets, reports and documentation for inspections, audits and school improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in marketing or events roles within UAE schools.
• Experience with marketing campaigns.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong communication, creativity, teamwork and organisational skills.
