Mergers and Acquisition Lawyer

About the role

Arada is seeking an experienced M&A Lawyer to act as a strategic legal advisor for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings across the GCC. The role combines deep legal expertise with commercial pragmatism to support senior leadership on growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage domestic and cross‑border M&A transactions from inception to completion, including drafting SPAs, APAs, JV agreements and shareholders' agreements.
• Conduct legal due diligence, identify transaction risks and advise on regulatory implications and post‑acquisition integration.
• Provide corporate law and governance advice across multiple jurisdictions, supporting board and shareholder matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, advising on risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, ensuring compliance with competition law, foreign investment rules and licensing requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of legal experience with a focus on M&A, corporate and commercial law.
• Experience in leading international law firms and in‑house legal functions within large corporations.
• Proven track record of independently managing complex, high‑value transactions.
• Strong exposure to the KSA legal and regulatory environment and experience across the GCC.
• Ability to advise executive leadership and translate complex legal issues into practical business solutions.
