Operational & Financial Auditor

About the role

The Operational & Financial Auditor will conduct internal audits in line with the annual audit plan, ensuring robust internal controls, compliance with group policies, and protection of assets across Al-Futtaim’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Manager in developing the annual audit plan and create detailed audit programs.
• Perform operational and financial audits, evaluate controls, and verify compliance with delegations of authority.
• Document audit work in the Audit Management System and prepare clear, professional audit reports.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and support fraud investigations when required.
• Utilise computer‑assisted audit tools such as ACL to extend audit coverage.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA, CFA) or MBA in Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal audit functions.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards and internal controls.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Data analytics and audit software proficiency (ACL).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Familiarity with audit management/documentation systems.
