Plumber

About the role

The Plumber will join Emirates Electrical Engineering’s MEP team to install, maintain and repair water and drainage systems for commercial and industrial projects across the UAE. The role involves working with a variety of pipe materials and ensuring all installations meet the required standards and codes.

Key responsibilities

• Install water supply systems using PPR, cast iron, HDPE, UPVC and other specified materials.
• Lay out and fit pipes, fittings and fixtures for both cold and hot water distribution.
• Install, test and maintain drainage systems, ensuring proper flow and preventing blockages.
• Perform welding and pipe‑joining procedures for HDPE and other metal pipes.
• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting and repairs of plumbing installations.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of hands‑on experience in plumbing or MEP projects.
• Familiarity with a range of pipe materials such as PPR, cast iron, HDPE, UPVC and PVC.
• Proven ability to perform welding and pipe‑joining tasks safely and accurately.
• Good understanding of plumbing codes, standards and best practices.
