Polisher – Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

The Polisher is responsible for applying and maintaining high‑quality finishes on walls, ceilings and furniture throughout the Al Hamra property, ensuring the hotel’s luxury standards are upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain and other finishes to walls, ceilings and furniture using brushes, spray guns or rollers.
• Prepare surfaces by applying primers or sealers and by removing old finishes through stripping, sanding, wire‑brushing or abrasive blasting.
• Protect surfaces during work, post appropriate paint signs and clean up and store tools and equipment after each job.
• Coordinate with vendors to adjust colours of paint, stain or varnish and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
• Assist guests according to hotel standards, support the team to meet quality expectations and perform physical tasks such as ladder work and lifting up to 50 lb.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification.
• At least one year of related painting or finishing experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to follow safety training and company policies.

Required skills

• Paint application using brushes, rollers and spray guns.
• Surface preparation including stripping, sanding and abrasive blasting.
• Use of ladders and handling of materials up to 50 lb.
