Portfolio Analytics Manager

About the role

The Portfolio Analytics Manager will support the Bank’s credit risk oversight by delivering comprehensive analytics, risk monitoring and high‑quality reporting to senior leadership and the Board. The role combines deep credit‑risk expertise with advanced data‑analytics capabilities to drive insight, automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse the credit risk portfolio across dimensions such as segment, sector, geography, rating and IFRS 9 staging.
• Prepare and present high‑quality risk reports for senior management, risk committees and the Board, ensuring clear articulation of trends and actions.
• Coordinate and submit accurate regulatory credit‑risk reports to the Central Bank of the UAE, maintaining compliance with CBUAE requirements.
• Maintain data integrity, reconciliation and governance for all credit‑risk data used in internal and external reporting.
• Drive automation, standardisation and enhancement of analytics and reporting processes using SQL, ETL pipelines, Power BI and Python/SAS.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in banking credit‑risk management, portfolio analytics or regulatory risk reporting.
• Proven ability to analyse large credit‑risk datasets, identify emerging risks and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
• Experience preparing risk information for senior management, risk committees or board‑level forums.
• Hands‑on experience with reporting automation and business‑intelligence tools.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and data‑manipulation/ETL design.
• Power BI dashboard development and visualisation.
• Python and SAS programming for data analysis.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for management‑level presentation.
• Knowledge of credit‑risk metrics, IFRS 9 staging, ECL provisioning and CBUAE regulatory requirements.
