Post‑Doctoral Associate – Cyber Security Research

About the role

The Center of Cyber Security at NYU Abu Dhabi is seeking a post‑doctoral associate to conduct cutting‑edge research in systems security and privacy. The role is based in Abu Dhabi with close collaboration opportunities with NYU researchers in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct world‑class research in systems security and privacy and publish in top‑tier conferences and journals.
• Collaborate with government entities and industry partners to deliver groundbreaking results.
• Mentor and supervise PhD, master and bachelor students, helping them improve their research capabilities.
• Contribute technically and administratively to workshops, conferences and competitions organized by the center.

Required profile

• PhD in computer science, engineering or a related field (or submitted thesis) with expertise in security or privacy.
• Less than five years of post‑doctoral experience.
• Excellent analytic, design and coding abilities, plus strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and take initiative.
