Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will support the Procurement Manager and Category Managers in sourcing initiatives while independently managing end‑to‑end procurement projects. This role covers multiple spend categories and contributes to the Group’s cost‑reduction and value‑creation objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities and independently deliver procurement projects from initiation to completion.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, from requisition through delivery and payment processing.
• Apply category management principles across various spend categories, with technology experience considered an advantage.
• Lead contract and vendor negotiations, coordinating with Legal and stakeholders.
• Identify and deliver cost avoidance and run‑rate savings through strategic sourcing and supplier optimisation.
• Maintain supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and manage risk.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, including financial assessments and onboarding.
• Drive process improvements through standardisation, catalogues, preferred suppliers and automation.
• Ensure compliance with Group policies and Delegation of Authority.
• Contribute to procurement reporting, tracking processing times, savings and key metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of delivering sourcing projects and measurable savings.
