Product Owner Manager

About the role

The Product Owner Manager will lead the product vision and roadmap for the Data Analytics unit of Emirates NBD, a leading digital bank in the MENAT region. Working closely with stakeholders and delivery squads, the role ensures that products are user‑centric, deliver business value and align with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with stakeholders to capture business objectives and translate them into a clear product vision and goal.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that reflects market trends, competitor analysis and customer needs.
• Create customer journey maps and establish a feedback loop to incorporate the voice of the customer.
• Prioritise features, manage scope, budget and timelines, and maintain a transparent, value‑driven product backlog with epics, features and user stories.
• Refine and size backlog items for upcoming sprints, ensuring dependencies are mapped and the team has adequate work.
• Collect, collate and prioritise functional and technical demands, acting as the primary liaison between product line and all stakeholders.
• Secure stakeholder buy‑in and provide clear instructions to squads for product delivery.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitor products within the banking and digital finance sector.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate client needs and champion customer centricity.
• Excellent communication skills to align diverse stakeholders around product goals.
• Proven experience in managing product backlogs, roadmaps and delivery pipelines.
• Ability to balance scope, budget and time while delivering high‑value features.
