Production Engineer

About the role

Alfanar is seeking a Production Engineer to improve manufacturing processes, ensure efficient production, and maintain high‑quality output across its operations. The role involves planning, coordinating, and continuously enhancing production activities while supporting engineering and maintenance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production processes to guarantee consistent delivery of high‑quality products.
• Monitor and control Work in Progress (WIP) and sub‑store inventory.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to optimise equipment and material usage.
• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities.
• Assess ongoing production activities, investigate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions.
• Implement cost‑reduction measures while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications.
• Train and guide team members to support production goals.
• Participate in 5S activities and collaborate with safety personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing engineering.
• Proven ability to analyse processes, solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance in an industrial setting.
