Production Support Engineer – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Production Support Engineer for a regulated institutional digital‑asset business in Dubai. The role focuses on keeping a high‑availability financial platform running smoothly by investigating incidents, automating diagnostics and enhancing monitoring, availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate production issues, work with developers to prioritise and resolve them promptly.
• Lead diagnostic efforts, automate diagnosis and fix issues at the source.
• Monitor, analyse and troubleshoot problems, provide code fixes and conduct thorough testing.
• Build and use application monitoring solutions to improve production availability and performance.
• Communicate clearly with users, development and support teams during downtime and issue resolution.
• Follow Incident, Problem and Change Management processes and ensure SLA compliance.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in the digital assets or financial services industry is preferred.

Required skills

• Solid shell scripting, SQL and Linux skills.
• Hands‑on experience with FIX, REST and WebSocket protocols.
• Experience with DevOps tooling, containerisation and cloud concepts (AWS, Docker, EKS).
