Project Manager – Client Connectivity (Global Payments Solutions)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the onboarding and integration of corporate clients onto HSBC’s Global Payments and Liquidity solutions. You will coordinate delivery across internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation on HSBC digital channels such as HSBCnet, Treasury API, Host-to-Host and SwiftNet.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of client onboarding and connectivity projects across HSBC digital channels.
• Own day-to-day project governance, including project plans, milestones, RAID logs, meeting cadence and status reporting.
• Drive delivery timelines, identify and escalate blockers early, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders across GPS Product, Technology, Operations, Implementation and Sales/Relationship Management.
• Facilitate client communication, organise working sessions, capture decisions and provide progress updates.
• Participate in client workshops to gather requirements and support solution design with subject-matter experts.
• Support pre-mandate activities such as RFI/RFP inputs, providing implementation approach and timelines.
• Maintain accurate implementation documentation and capture lessons learned to improve client experience.
• Stay informed on industry developments, including emerging connectivity approaches and ISO 20022 changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering client onboarding and connectivity implementations in a financial services environment.
• Strong project governance and execution discipline with ability to manage risks, issues and dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product, technology, operations and sales teams.
