Project Manager

About the role

Nexus Solutions is looking for a Project Manager to plan and manage client and internal projects from scoping through to delivery, acting as the main delivery contact for assigned clients. The role ensures projects are planned, delivered and reported to standard, on time and within agreed hours, giving the leadership team full visibility of delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run client and internal projects from scoping to completion, with milestones, owners, dependencies and timelines, and coordinate handoffs between teams
• Manage change requests against agreed scope and maintain risk logs and trackers, escalating blocked or overdue items early
• Act as main delivery contact for clients, turn requirements into briefs, run regular progress updates and review client reports
• Run a central intake for work requests, route standard requests via SOP and prepare proposals for bespoke work with pricing agreed by senior leadership
• Allocate project management hours according to service agreements, log time accurately and report monthly on billable hours and utilisation
• Produce weekly status reports, run project meetings, track recurring delays and improve project templates and workflows

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years in project management, ideally in an agency, consultancy or managed services environment
• Proven experience delivering client projects to agreed scope, timelines and hours
• Experience scoping work, preparing proposals, managing change requests and risks, and tracking billable hours
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Excellent written English and attention to detail

• Jira, Asana, Monday or similar project or workflow tools
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting
• Nice to have: PRINCE2, PMP, CAPM or Agile certification, and experience with time tracking tools and service level reporting
