Psychiatric Nurse – SAKINA, Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Mental Health Nurse delivers safe, patient‑centered, evidence‑based nursing care to individuals experiencing mental health disorders, psychiatric illnesses, emotional disturbances and behavioural challenges in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and medication management.
• Perform crisis intervention and support patients during acute episodes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across inpatient units, consultation‑liaison services, emergency psychiatry, outpatient clinics and specialised programmes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies and professional nursing standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a mental health or psychiatric specialization.
• Valid nursing licence to practice in the UAE.
• Relevant experience in psychiatric or mental health settings.
• Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
