Regional Legal Counsel – MENA

About the role

The Regional Legal Counsel supports the Regional Legal Director by providing comprehensive legal advice across corporate, commercial, governance and compliance matters throughout the Middle East and North Africa. This in‑house position requires a commercially‑minded lawyer who can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts, NDAs and commercial agreements, including bilingual documents.
• Maintain corporate records, manage trade licences, resolutions and filings related to director or shareholder changes.
• Conduct legal due diligence, create new entities and oversee corporate restructuring and dissolutions.
• Administer the contract lifecycle management (CLM) solution to ensure contracts are properly implemented, submitted and tracked.
• Support governance and compliance programmes across the region and coordinate litigation with external counsel.

Required profile

• Legal qualification to practice in a MENA jurisdiction with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in the GCC.
• In‑house experience in an international, matrixed organisation and strong knowledge of data privacy and technology laws.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work independently.
