Regional Sales Manager – Oil & Gas (Middle East & Central Asia)

About the role

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales, business development and strategic growth of generator set and power solutions across the Middle East and Central Asia. The role reports to senior leadership and carries full commercial responsibility for revenue, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction within the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet annual revenue, margin and market‑share targets.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline with major oil & gas operators, drilling contractors, EPC firms and service companies.
• Lead a team of Director Account Managers and Distribution Sales Managers, ensuring alignment of account strategies across countries.
• Establish channel growth plans, performance metrics and capability development for dealer and distributor networks.
• Deliver accurate sales forecasts, oversee pricing strategy, contract negotiations and major bid approvals.
• Collaborate with finance, legal and operations to optimise commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in sales or business development within the upstream, midstream or downstream energy markets.
• Strong strategic planning and key‑account management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop executive‑level relationships with national and international oil companies, drilling contractors and EPC organisations.
• Excellent commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets.
