Relationship Officer – Bancassurance Life

About the role

RAKBANK is seeking a Relationship Officer for its Bancassurance Life division. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding their protection needs, and delivering tailored life insurance solutions while supporting the bank’s financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
• Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for Bancassurance products.
• Monitor competitor offerings and propose improvements to processes and product positioning.
• Provide timely feedback to the Relationship Manager to help meet business objectives.
• Maintain superior customer service standards and meet defined turnaround times (TAT) for all requests.
• Submit accurate, error‑free insurance applications and coordinate with Bancassurance Coordinators for seamless processing.
• Adhere to the bank’s Code of Conduct, HR guidelines and SLA/TAT requirements.
• Manage individual clawback levels within mandated targets and promote semi‑annual and annual premium payment modes.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably within banking or insurance.
• Good knowledge of RAKBANK retail products and competitive banking products.
• Sales‑oriented mindset with the ability to identify cross‑sell opportunities across bank divisions.
