Retail Banking Officer

About the role

The Retail Banking Officer will join the RBS MPT unit, a sales channel focused on credit cards, personal finance and bank accounts for existing and prospective customers in the UAE. The role aims to increase market share and drive cross‑selling of retail banking products in line with the bank’s overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Sell credit cards, personal finance solutions and bank accounts to retail customers.
• Cross‑sell additional banking products as required to boost overall sales and profitability.
• Represent the bank professionally, providing accurate product information and service details.
• Adhere to the bank’s service standards to ensure a best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Follow all internal policies and procedures.
• Collect and report customer feedback, market insights and other relevant data.

Required profile

• Graduate, high‑school diploma, MBA or BBA.
• Minimum 2 years of banking or retail sales experience in the UAE.
• UAE driving licence.
• Self‑motivated, hardworking, focused and enthusiastic.
• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills.

• Basic knowledge of operating systems.
• Strong selling and marketing abilities.
• Effective interpersonal communication.
