About the role

The Support Sales Assistant ensures a clean, tidy and shoppable store environment at ACE Hardware, helping customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience while driving sales through effective selling techniques and strong product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service, advising shoppers on product categories and recommending add‑on items.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, display of goods and ensure prompt product availability.
• Maintain accurate ticketing and pricing to prevent loss and comply with store procedures.
• Apply merchandising principles, keep the department clean and organized, and support store events such as stock‑takes and product launches.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary school education.
• At least 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to manage tasks with focus and precision.
• Familiarity with retail processes and customer‑service techniques.
