About the role

Join the hospitality team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm as a Room Service Waiter/Waitress. You will deliver a premium in‑room dining experience, ensuring guests enjoy the resort’s French‑inspired elegance from the comfort of their rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests via phone or in person.
• Deliver orders promptly to guest rooms, maintaining accuracy and presentation.
• Set up and clear dining areas in rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement.
• Handle guest complaints or special requests with professionalism.
• Process payments and manage cash or credit‑card transactions.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely order delivery.
• Prepare and restock trays, carts, minibar items, condiments, utensils, and beverages.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and food‑safety standards in the service area.

Required profile

• Prior experience in food service, preferably room service.
• Strong customer‑service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
