Safety Officer – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Safety Officer on a 12‑month temporary contract to support its Safety Manager/Specialist. You will work in a fast‑paced, multicultural aviation environment, helping to maintain and improve operational safety across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Manager/Specialist in reviewing and closing safety reports.
• Investigate incidents and accidents involving Emirates operations, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Prepare investigation reports that identify root causes, systemic hazards, and corrective recommendations.
• Collect and coordinate information from operational departments during formal safety investigations.
• Liaise with line departments to obtain timely documentation and responses.
• Support the development of safety awareness training and communication materials.
• Participate in safety campaigns and conduct safety data analysis to highlight trends.
• Provide guidance to operational teams on hazard identification and risk assessment.

Required profile

• Experience supporting safety investigations in an aviation or related environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret safety data and produce clear reports.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with multiple operational departments.
• Willingness to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the Safety Management System.
