Sales Assistant – Gift Shop (Russian/Arabic Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our luxury hotel gift shop in Dubai. The ideal candidate will greet guests, provide personalized product advice, and process sales while delivering the high‑standard service expected at a 5‑star property.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a warm, professional manner.
• Guide guests through product selection, offering accurate information and recommendations.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately, following cash‑handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive shop environment.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish merchandise, and ensure proper pricing and presentation.
• Receive deliveries, assist with stock control, and report any discrepancies.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues, escalating when necessary.
• Promote products to maximize sales while maintaining a service‑focused approach.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or hospitality.
• Fluent in Russian or Arabic, with a good command of English.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Sales‑driven, proactive, and well‑presented.
• Flexible availability for shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• POS system knowledge.
