Sales Associate – Retail Customer Service

About the role

The Sales Associate will be the front‑line ambassador of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle stores, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales. You will work closely with shoppers to understand their needs, provide product advice, and ensure a welcoming store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Champion customer service standards in line with Majid Al Futtaim guidelines.
• Address customer concerns promptly, escalating to the Store Manager when necessary.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through upselling and cross‑selling.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge to recommend suitable merchandise.
• Support store operations including cleanliness, tidiness, and stock replenishment.
• Comply with store security policies to minimise stock loss.
• Utilise advanced selling techniques to generate high‑value transactions and repeat business.

Required profile

• High School Certificate.
• 1–2 years of retail or related industry experience.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Excellent customer service orientation.

Required skills

• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
• Basic numeracy for handling transactions.
