Sales Engineer – LV Switchgears

About the role

The Sales Engineer will develop new business opportunities and manage strategic customer relationships for a leading UAE‑based LV switchgear manufacturer. The role blends technical knowledge of low‑voltage power distribution with disciplined account development and commercial execution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new business across the UAE and selected regional markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, utilities, OEMs, developers and industrial end‑users.
• Promote and sell solutions such as MDBs, SMDBs, MCCs, DBs, ATS panels, generator control panels, VFD/soft‑starter panels, power factor correction panels, PLC/control panels, feeder pillars, electrical enclosures and custom engineered assemblies.
• Coordinate with estimation, engineering, production and project teams to prepare technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals.
• Negotiate commercial and technical matters, maintain an accurate sales pipeline in the CRM/SAMR process and achieve order‑intake, revenue and margin targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of technical sales or business development experience in LV switchgear, electrical distribution or related products.
• Strong understanding of LV switchgear, protection devices and distribution systems, preferably within the UAE market.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship‑management skills, self‑driven and target‑oriented.
• Valid UAE driving licence (preferred) and willingness to travel across the UAE.
