Senior Account Executive – Higher Education Solutions

About the role

Ellucian is seeking a Senior Account Executive to lead enterprise sales across the Middle East, focusing on higher‑education institutions. You will engage senior university leaders to position Ellucian’s AI‑powered SaaS platform and drive strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, targeting Presidents, Chancellors, Provosts, CFOs and CIOs.
• Expand existing enterprise accounts and generate new revenue through consultative selling.
• Develop and execute account plans that meet revenue targets and ensure sustainable growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including executives, pre‑sales consultants, customer success, partners, marketing and professional services—to support complex sales cycles.
• Negotiate proposals, close deals and maintain accurate pipeline reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B enterprise sales within the education technology sector.
• Strong ability to build relationships with C‑level executives and influence decision‑making.
• Self‑starter with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
