Senior Account Risk Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior professional to lead the resolution of high‑risk customer accounts across our global portfolio. The role acts as a global orchestrator, protecting revenue, cash flow and customer retention while providing executive‑level visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive resolution of high‑risk customer accounts, ensuring actions are executed on target dates.
• Facilitate a regular global risk review cadence across all regions and business divisions.
• Serve as central coordination and escalation point for accounts with significant financial, commercial, delivery or retention risks.
• Maintain accurate risk account records including exposure, root causes, mitigation plans and owners.
• Monitor and report on risks impacting ARR, renewals, collections, churn, revenue realisation and bad‑debt exposure.
• Develop executive dashboards and management reporting to provide visibility into risk trends and resolution progress.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, Delivery, Product and Leadership teams to accelerate resolutions.
• Lead automation initiatives to streamline data collection, reporting, workflow management and risk tracking processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the software industry, particularly in finance, risk management, collections or strategic account governance.
• Strong understanding of software business models including ARR, renewals, retention and revenue realisation.
• Proven ability to drive complex account resolutions and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities to assess financial, operational and commercial risks.
• Highly tech‑savvy with experience in process automation, workflow optimisation and systems integration.
• Strong project‑management, organisational and follow‑through skills.
• Persistent, resilient and results‑driven mindset, acting as the organisation’s “bulldog” for accountability.
