Senior Backend Engineer (Remote)

About the role

PRYPCO is looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer with over eight years of experience building and scaling robust services. The role focuses on designing high‑performance backend systems using C#/.NET on Azure and requires strong debugging and performance‑optimization skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services with C# and .NET, following microservices and serverless patterns.
• Lead architecture discussions, enforce best practices for code organization, design patterns, and caching strategies.
• Drive platform evolution on Azure, including Key Vault, App Config, queueing services, and ADB2C.
• Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests, and ensure observability through monitoring tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Proven expertise in C#.NET, Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging, performance‑tuning, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
