Senior Construction/Installation Engineer – Topsides & Bridges

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Senior Construction/Installation Engineer to lead offshore topsides and bridge structural works on a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role covers the full lifecycle from fabrication to handover, ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide construction and installation engineering support for topsides, bridges, walkways, modules, decks, pipe racks and equipment supports.
• Develop and review construction sequences, installation methodologies and work packs, and resolve technical queries on site.
• Supervise fabrication, erection, alignment, welding and bolting of structural members and monitor bridge installation activities.
• Identify construction risks, propose mitigation measures and ensure compliance with QA/QC, specifications and offshore execution plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years on offshore projects.
• Proven background in structural construction, installation and offshore field execution, preferably with PMC/EPC or ADNOC offshore experience.
