Senior Operations Analyst – Physical Metals

About the role

Equiti Group is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Operations Analyst for its Physical Metals division in Dubai. The role will support the end‑to‑end operational workflow of the gold trading business, ensuring smooth coordination with liquidity providers, refineries, vault operators and logistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operational processes for physical gold trading, including bullion delivery coordination.
• Liaise with liquidity providers, refineries, vault operators and physical suppliers to maintain efficient workflows.
• Oversee reconciliation of bullion transactions in partnership with Finance and liquidity partners.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues, discrepancies and client queries, escalating when necessary.
• Act as the primary operational contact for all gold trading activities and provide regular performance reporting.
• Support funding and liquidity management related to bullion transactions.
• Ensure proper functioning of the internal gold trading application, working with the technology team on enhancements and issue resolution.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities and risk mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in physical bullion or commodities trading operations.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across trading, operations and external partners.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic trading environment.
