Senior Sales Manager - Marine & Ship Chandling

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will lead revenue generation for a leading marine and ship‑chandling client in the UAE. Reporting to senior leadership, the role focuses on expanding market share across ship‑chandlers, marine suppliers and procurement teams throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage key ship‑chandler accounts and generate new RFQs.
• Convert enquiries into profitable orders while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Lead a team of 8‑10 sales professionals, providing coaching and performance oversight.
• Build long‑term relationships with procurement and purchasing decision‑makers.
• Identify and pursue new marine business opportunities to grow the company’s presence across the UAE.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of UAE experience in marine, ship‑chandling, lifting & rigging or a closely related industry.
• Well‑established network of ship‑chandlers and marine suppliers in the UAE.
• Proven track record of generating and growing business through existing market relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Required skills

• Procurement and RFQ handling.
• Quotations and negotiations.
• Lifting & rigging equipment expertise (wire ropes, slings, shackles, chain slings, hoists).
• Strong knowledge of marine and ship‑chandling equipment.
