Senior SCM Specialist – Valves

About the role

Subsea7 is seeking a Senior SCM Specialist to lead the procurement of engineered valve materials and services for an Oil & Gas project. You will be accountable for delivering materials that meet technical, safety, budget, schedule and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pre‑award activities, prepare RFQs and manage bid evaluation using SAP Ariba.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and recommend award decisions to the Project SCM Manager.
• Prepare and manage contracts, create purchase orders in SAP and ensure timely approvals.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage PO convergence plans, and resolve any delays or issues.
• Provide regular progress reports and act as the main contact for suppliers on commercial and contractual matters.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 12 years of supply chain management experience, including vendor qualification and purchase order lifecycle.
• Aramco experience for topside electrical equipment is required.
• Strong cost‑saving orientation and ability to work under pressure.
